COLD SLEEP TRUFFLE® is shipped via express frozen delivery. Upon receipt, please place it in the freezer and store it there until ready to enjoy. Note that when storing in a home freezer, the shelf life is approximately one month due to higher freezer temperatures. For best results, store in the back of the freezer, where temperature fluctuations from frequent opening are minimized.
The Awakening
Simply rinse under cold water before enjoying.
Once you open the pouch and expose the truffle to air, its rich aroma will fill the air. To thaw, submerge the pouch in running cold water, ensuring the truffle remains dry.
Depending on the size, it should be partially thawed in about 5-6 minutes. After that, remove the truffle from the pouch and slice it with a slicer or shaver.
For best results, use the truffle while it’s still partially thawed, as fully thawed truffles become soft and harder to slice.
